Japan Countdown: 3 days!
Today Liz and I got our Japan Rail Passes to allow us to take trains all through Japan. We're going to spend one overnight in Kyoto and take the bullet train there. I guess you can see Mount Fiji on the way if you know when to look. Of course we'll take tons of pictures and videos--all will be documented for your viewing pleasure.
The next two days I have to spend packing and organizing. Items will be drawn from two categories -- things to wear and things to entertain me on the 15 hour plane trip. At least I have a seat next to an electrical outlet so I can have unlimited laptop access. And the seat also has an individual TV. I plan to bring the Sony e-reader Jacob gave me so I don't have to pack a pile of books. And DVDs - the entire first season of Gossip Girl. Maybe some Angel -- I'm halfway through season 2. Some movies...I need variety as I tend to go all ADD on long flights. Lots of trashy magazines will help, too.
Anyway, off to walk the dog and start organizing!!

Are you going to Shibuya? The clothes to buy are supposed to fab :-)
Have a lovely day! :-)
Oh yes, definitely. We want to see all the little gothic lolitas and harajuku girls!! :) I am worried all the clothes will be too tiny for my American body though. But they will still be fun to look at in any case.
Judging by your name. You have Italian background. So if Gwen Stefani can do it, so can you ;-)
Have a lovely day! :-)
Whoo! Have a great time, and def. take loads of pics.
And I doubt you are too big for Japanese clothes--you are tiny!
