Preparing to Move
Sorry I didn't post yesterday. Life has been a bit of a whirlwind lately with my impending move.
STUFF DONE:
* Accepted new job
* Gave notice at old job
* Found someone to rent my Boston apartment
* Finished 2nd draft of Moongazer
STUFF TO BE DONE BY MARCH 5th
* Find new apartment (attempting to do that this weekend!)
* Pack things (this is one time I am glad for the fire last year because I don't have a ton of junk to pack anymore!)
* Move (either by self/friends or with movers depending on affordibility and timing)
* Polish Moongazer to perfection and send in to editor
* Do revisions on Moongazer after editor reads it
* Do revisions on Girls that Growl, which should come in soon
* Write proposal for next YA vampire book
Hm...my TBD list is a lot longer than my "done" list. Of course. Oh well, one thing at a time. Most important will be finding that little closet in Manhattan to call my own. The realtors have been a bit discouraging about me finding dog friendly places. But I'm trying to stay optimistic. In any case, I just keep reminding myself that I'm going to be living my dream and a little stress now will lead to a big pay-off later. :) And that moving to NYC isn't that much different than moving elsewhere-which I've done many times before. It just SEEMS daunting cause it's NYC. But it'll all be fine in the end. In fact, it'll likely be great!

I am so excited for you, chicka, I'm about to burst into the theme from ARTHUR!
Will you be there by March? Because I am in town in March and I SWEAR I hear Cosmopolitans calling our names....
