Happy Birthday Hope Tarr!
Well, belated birthday as I'm now blogging half a week behind. Some journalist I am!
Anyway, on Thursday night, after attending a press screening for City of Ember (awesome movie! I will write more soon about that.) I headed down to Tribeca to meet the girls at the Brandy Library, a swanky bar with a books and brandy theme, to celebrate author Hope Tarr's birthday. All the usual suspects where there - Liz, Leanna, Elizabeth, Stacey and, of course, Hope herself. I'm so not a brandy girl and contented myself with a glass of Sancerre.
We got one of the Wall Street guys at the next table to take a photo of us all...
So yeah, great bar. Fun night. Happy birthday Hope!!!

Note when ordering Brandy Cocktails: The other flavors of your brandy cocktail will be there, you just have to sip to find them, I was almost near the end of a hard-fought battle when I suddenly exclaimed "Oh, there's the creme de cacao".
Loved the atmosphere and the company. Happy Birthday Hope!
