I <3 NY

It's Monday, but since I'm only working today and tomorrow it feels more like Thursday. Yay! Two day work weeks are the best! Especially two day work weeks that end with exciting trips to NYC!!

Okay, fine, I go to NYC so much I don't think I'm allowed to call the trips exciting anymore. Except that they are. I love NYC so much. My ultimate life's goal is to live there. Right on the Upper West Side, probably in the 70s/80s. A few short blocks away from Central Park. Even if all I could afford was a tiny studio - not much bigger than a closet. After all, the city itself would be my backyard!!!

Here's my little UWS dream apartment. Isn't it just too cute? I love the loft bedroom. I could SO see myself living here. Of course to you guys who aren't city people, this may seem a small version of hell, but I'm a total city girl at heart and this apartment is totally me.

I'm a country girl through and through. I do not like cities. I always feel so claustrophobic. But the apartment is really cute.

I'm totally a city girl, but I don't think I'd survive in that small of a place. I'd need the entire loft (at least) for my clothes and shoes. Even though I live alone I think if I lived in a space that small I'd start getting on my OWN nerves! LOL!

I don't know Mari, a dog in a tiny studio, even if you had the park nearby. You might want to try a small one bedroom. I have to say though living in the city is the best, but then I grew up here, so I'm probably biased.

heh - my dog is almost 11 years old so she's fine with a small apartment. (The one I live in now in Boston is not too much bigger and Molly spends most of her day sleeping in the closet, lol.

I'd ideally like a small one bedroom, but if I want to live in Manhattan that probably won't be feasible. But maybe if I go to Brooklyn or Queens. :)

And as far as "stuff" goes - I don't have a ton because of the fire last year. So I'm studio friendly!

I think it looks great. But then, I lived in NYC for two years so I completely understand your desire to live there and the kind of domiciles that make living there work.
